Privacy Policy
This page explains what happens to the information you share with Aasri Productions through this website.
Draft for review. This is a plain-English starting point written for this website's actual behaviour. Have it checked against your obligations — including California privacy law and any SMS consent language you use — before you publish it.
What we collect
When you send an inquiry, we collect only what you type into the form:
- Your name
- Your email address and, if you give one, your phone number
- Your wedding date, location and estimated guest count
- The services you are interested in and how you heard about us
- Anything you write in the message field
We also store the date and time of the inquiry and the browser you sent it from, which helps us spot automated spam.
Why we collect it
To answer your inquiry, confirm whether your date is available, prepare a quote, and — if you book us — to plan and deliver your wedding coverage. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.
Where it is stored
Inquiries are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), a hosted database service. Access is limited to the studio team through a password-protected admin account.
Other services this site uses
- Google Fonts — typefaces are requested from Google's servers when the page loads.
- YouTube — wedding films are hosted on YouTube. Nothing is requested from YouTube until
you press play on a film, and we use the
youtube-nocookieplayer. - Google Maps — the studio map in the footer loads from Google when you scroll to it.
These services have their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies once loaded. This website itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
Photographs
The photographs and films on this site are our work, shared with the permission of the couples in them. If you appear in an image here and would like it removed, contact us and we will do that.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email or call the studio and we will take care of it.
